Geomembranes

Geomembranes are impermeable sheets used to contain, separate, or line: landfill cells, irrigation canals, fish and shrimp ponds, mining heap leach pads, reservoirs, and tank foundations. In reinforced fabric form — a polyester core with coated or laminated polymer faces — they combine the chemical resistance of the polymer with the mechanical toughness of the weave, which matters on uneven subgrades where unreinforced films can stretch or puncture.
Matching the Membrane to the Site
Application conditions drive selection more than any datasheet headline. Containment of aggressive liquids pushes toward chemically resistant compounds; exposed installations demand UV packages; submerged or covered installations can prioritize puncture resistance and seam strength instead. Subgrade preparation is the other half of the story — a smooth, padded base protects any liner, while sharp stones and root pockets will eventually defeat even a thick sheet, so geotextile underlays are standard practice on rough ground.
Installation and Seaming

Thermal welding (hot wedge or hot air) is the norm for reinforced liners; crews should weld test seams daily and destructive-test a sample.
Details — pipe penetrations, corners, anchor trenches — decide real-world performance; budget field time for them.
For aquaculture, surface colour affects water temperature and inspection visibility; black remains the default for durability.

Kezhibo manufactures reinforced geomembrane and liner fabrics with knife-coated consistency for reliable field welding, serving aquaculture, agriculture, and civil containment projects. Production runs under ISO 9001 certified processes, and our export team routinely ships project quantities to Southeast Asia and other regions. Describe the containment duty — liquid type, exposure, subgrade — and we will recommend a construction, quote production, and advise on seaming practice.
