Conveyor Belts
Fabric components for conveyor systems cover the coated textiles around the belt itself: skirting and sealing fabrics, belt covers and protection sheeting, apron and chute linings, and the coated fabrics used in belt repair. These components rarely appear on drawings, yet they decide how cleanly material stays on the belt — and how much dust, spillage, and premature wear a plant tolerates.
Where Coated Fabrics Fit Around the Belt
Skirting and side seals — flexible edges that keep material on the belt at loading points; the fabric must abrade without gouging the belt surface.
Belt covers and walkway sheeting — protective overlays for exposed runs and maintenance access.
Chute and hopper linings — coated fabrics that absorb impact and promote flow where rigid liners crack.
Repair and splice materials — reinforced sheets for field repair of damaged sections.
Selection Notes
Abrasion behaviour and flex fatigue outrank tensile strength in these roles, because the duty is continuous contact and movement rather than static load. Chemical compatibility matters where the conveyed material is reactive or oily — a PVC that swells in contact with the product will fail regardless of its mechanical numbers. And fire performance is frequently mandated in enclosed plants and underground operations, so certified FR grades are often the entry ticket.
Kezhibo supplies coated fabrics for conveyor-adjacent components from knife-coating production, with abrasion- and FR-tuned formulations available through our custom manufacturing services. Our ISO 9001 certified lines keep batch properties consistent — important for plants that standardize spare parts — and our export desk serves industrial customers across Asia and Europe. Describe the conveyed material, loading rate, and environment; we will propose fabrics that have the right wear behaviour rather than just the right datasheet.
